This page features links to all of the units with audio examples for the Time Lines Rhythm Patterns that are available online. Each of these patterns is longer than the Rhythm Exercises and features a rhythm for you to clap and count and practice on your instrument. There are at least 14 patterns in every unit (Unit 5 has 28 patterns). All of the audio examples for the material in Book 1 are now online. Select an image or link below to practice the rhythm patterns. Visit the Time Lines Table of Contents for more information and explanations of the material in each unit. Go to the Time Lines Color Blocks page for an explanation of how they can help you to understand the lengths of notes and rests. If you would like to receive information on updates to the website (as well as a link to free materials), sign up for the Music All the Time newsletter.
To see all of the written music for the Rhythm Patterns, purchase the Time Lines book for your instrument.
